Charged Up and Ready to Learn

Help me give my students power strips to charge their Chromebooks. I am also requesting plastic spoons for the classroom snack cabinet, a book for an eager reader, and crackers for an after-school snack for students.

My Students

Welcome to our English language arts classroom in northern Michigan. Our high school is tucked in the pines of the beautiful and remote Upper Peninsula.

My tenth through twelfth graders inspire me every day with their strength of spirit.

I love how welcoming they are to new students and how being around them feels like being with family. If you check out our classroom, I am confident my students will inspire you, too!

My Project

I am requesting two power strips so that students can charge their Chromebooks in class. One side of my classroom has no outlets, so these strips with 9.8-foot cords will allow students who sit on that side of the room to have their Chromebooks charged for class.

The Ritz crackers are for students who stay for after-school homework lab.

Our snack cabinet is bare except for peanut butter, so crackers would be much appreciated!

One of my students has read the first two books of the Monument 14 series, and he is patiently waiting to read the third book. I'd love to put it into his hands.
