This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students live in an area that was drastically touched by Hurricane Harvey. Many of my students lost their valuables, clothing and what few school supplies they had due to flooding. Despite what my students have gone through at home, they have still been able to come to school and achieve the grades that are needed to meet their grade level expectations. My students come to school ready to learn and have taught me to keep moving even when times get tough.
My Project
By donating the iPad cases and the Charging Doc my students will be able to use their iPads more frequently instead of waiting for a outlet to open up. The iPad cases will provide my iPads with protection from dirty fingers,being dropped and breaking. They will also allow my students to prop them up on a desk instead of them lying flat and getting scratches from sliding around.
These materials will help my students keep a better grip on their iPads while in workstations.
It will also allow them to prop their iPads up on their desk instead of them being laid down on the desk and getting scratched.
The iPad charging doc will also allow my students to charge all the iPads at one time instead of them having to share an outlet to charge. This will also allow us to charge our wireless headphones when needed.
