My Students

My students live in a suburban farming community in California. Our school serves a diverse community of kindergarten through fifth grade students. I have a class full of energetic and capable second graders. They are full of wonder and take great joy in learning. This is the year that they transition from learning to read and really begin reading to learn. I look forward to working with them this year and helping them realize their amazing potential. I am excited to see what the future holds for them.

My Project

My students will use the Chromebook charging station to keep our Chromebooks charged and ready for action every day. The charging station will make sure that we never again open up a Chromebook to find that it is out of power and unusable. They will be well organized and ready to be used.

The Chromebook will help get us closer to our goal of one-to-one technology integration.

We use our Chromebooks every day to read, write, and research. Having this additional Chromebooks will make it easier for my students to work on projects that interest them, visit getepic.com during independent reading, and complete their writing projects.
