We are an older school with about six hundred students. Our class is part of a blended learning kindergarten with forty-three students! My co-teacher and I work together to help the students learn to love using technology to enhance their learning!
We are a STEAM school and technology plays a big part in our learning.
Our kindergartners come from diverse backgrounds and love to work on Chromebooks and tablets. Some do not have access to technology at home.
We love that our students are from families that have been at our school for many generations. Teachers, staff, parents and grandparents all work together to make sure we have an environment that promotes pride in our school and a love of learning.
My Project
Students use Chromebooks and tablets every day for various activities. We need a place to keep them organized, charged and ready to use! We want students to feel comfortable using devices in a safe learning environment.
Students need technology at their fingertips to find information, collaborate and diversify their learning!
This cart will make it easy for students to access the devices when they need them.
It is never too early to learn to take care of and be responsible for our classroom technology. This cart will provide a safe and easily accessible place for students to get and return the devices.
