My Students

I have the privilege of teaching at a NEW elementary school in Washington, D.C. for the 2018-19 school year. I will be shifting to a third grade position, where we will be focused on our writing skills and STEM integration. I am excited to meet my new community and truly phenomenal students. I have no doubt my new class will come to school each morning full of energy, questions, and wonder.

My new school is a newly appointed STEM school, and I am working with the STEM coordinator to amp up the classroom environment and bring our third graders’ minds to life!

My Project

Thanks to the generosity of the DonorsChoose.org community, my students now have a new iPad to add to our collection. With that being said, we are working on finding a way to charge up the iPads in the classroom without using every single outlet.

We need a lockable charging station so that students can use their iPads, charge them, and lock them up for safe keeping!

Having all of our iPads in one safe spot will help us stay organized, and take the best possible care of our materials. Since our building is open to the public, ensuring that our materials are locked away are a must.
