I love watching my students eyes fill with excitement as I hand them a chapter book to read that they haven't read yet. I also enjoy watching my students grow as readers in my classroom through out the year.
I have a 2nd and 3rd blend this year.
My students are full of excitement about reading and enjoy opening a new book to explore. Many of my students are ready to begin reading chapter books. As a new teacher, I am still building my classroom library and continue to find that I need more chapter books for the students in my classroom. Many of my students also take these books home for their nightly reading because they may or may not have access to these books at home.
My Project
The students in my classroom are enthusiastic learners and love to read and learn new things. By providing my students with a donation of a variety of books, you will ensure that children in my classroom will further develop their love of reading by having exposure to many genres and styles of writing.
By supporting my project you will be a part of impacting the lives of the students in my classroom one book at a time.
I think that this is a wonderful opportunity to ensure that students have access to books and can develop a life long love of learning.
