My Students
My students are amazing, kind, and thoughtful second graders. They can also be very focused and determined. Our city has so much to give, but not without significant needs. I am honored to work with a great team of teachers, at an amazing school, that love and care for the kids they teach and the community they come from. Help me give my students the gift of reading. Help me give my students quality diverse books to fill their classroom library! Please help me give this to my wonderful students.
My Project
My boys are avid readers and they requested the Stink, My Weird School Daze, and Magic Tree House chapter books. They enjoy fun and creative books. My girls love the opportunity to dig into a new book, so they requested Junie B. Jones and Amelia Bedelia. They enjoy any "girly" book.
My goal is to increase each student's reading level by providing leveled books that make reading fun and accessible.
We want to have a classroom library that is growing and expanding. I would love the opportunity to give my children more. The yoga chair will be in our library, so students enjoy reading in a comfortable environment. The emphasis this year is reading, and I want to have more leveled books in my class library to improve reading levels.
