My Students

"When I say number you say one! We are Huskies at the #1 school!" This is just one of the callbacks we use at our school to instill positive attitudes and create school spirit! Our students live in a lower socioeconomic part of our town and face many challenges. We strive to bring an atmosphere of love and encouragement to all of our students. Through this environment, our students really shine by showing how truly creative, and innovative they are!

My Project

We need a rug for our classroom library because having a comfortable space to read is essential in developing a love for reading. I want my students to see our classroom library as a comfortable escape to new worlds of adventure through all the books they will read! This rug will be the focal point of our reading area; inviting students to sit down and relax with a good book. It is my hope that every part of my classroom creates an atmosphere where students can develop a love of learning and I know this rug will truly transform our library!
