My kindergarten students are eager to learn as they take their first steps into elementary school. They are excited to explore modern ideas and have new experiences as they begin this chapter of their lives. With having a smaller school, we are able to make personal relationships with each student and their family.

Half of my school qualifies for free/reduced lunch, so I want to ensure that they are being provided the materials that they need and deserve to succeed in my classroom!
My Project
My students need iPads and protective cases to be able to integrate technology in their every day life! The iPads and the cases are going to change the lives of the students in my classroom tremendously, because with us being in such a low income area, technology like this is not readily available to them. And this generation is such a fast moving one with technology by their side, my students would be lacking without these items in our classroom. These iPads will provide a station where students will be able to visit daily that will have multiple learning games to advance their skills in reading, mathematics, science and social studies. The students discuss wanting to have these pieces of technology, so I would love to be able to make their dreams come true with providing these to them!
