This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

My students love to learn! They love to move and are excited to find out about our world. They are inquisitive and have many interests that continue to push their thinking. As a class, we work on encouraging each other to focus on our strengths, which, in turn, builds confidence in all that we do.

About 53% of our students receive free or reduced-price lunch.

We live in a suburb in Michigan. I have some special education students and others who are below grade level. In our classroom, we learn, laugh, and love!

My Project

Have you ever had to sit in hard plastic chairs all day? I have and my back and bottom hurt by the end of the day. Imagine a classroom, much like a college classroom or executive board office where all students have chairs that are comfortable and healthy for their bodies to sit in all day long. Having chairs that are comfortable and healthy for their bodies will enable students to better concentrate on their work.

These chairs will allow the students to have chairs that provide support for their backs, shoulders, and heads while allowing them to work and swivel.

Your donation is allowing students to focus on their work and keep a healthy posture. Thank you for being an angel to my classroom.
