Help me give my students easy access to everyday materials by setting up organized stations with carts at each table. Help me give my students portable seating so they can be self-motivated with their learning.
This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
My students are individual and unique in every way possible, and that's what I love about them. They have their own personality that sets them apart from others around them, creating a fun and interesting classroom at all times. My students love to interact and learn together, which makes projects and group work so exciting. They love to explore and learn more about the world around them, which is so rewarding for me!
If it is my priority to engage my students in reaching their highest potential as an individual, then I will work hard to provide them with materials that best meet their everyday needs.
I will also help establish a classroom that allows them independence, motivation, and self-inspired learning. If we can work toward enhancing our classrooms in special ways, we can pave the way for student success all around. Our students are the future of America!
My Project
If my students love interacting, using hands-on materials and working together, how can I best assist them in the classroom?
Being able to access the materials they want and need by using containers at their fingertips will allow students to become independent and self-motivated.
They will no longer have to ask me for these items- they will have open opportunity throughout class which will also give them more time for assignments and projects.
If my student enjoy working around the room and not being restricted to their everyday seats, how can I create a portable work space that allows them to be motivated and directed by their tasks? Being able to move around and work in additional spaces will allow students to work in a student-centered classroom.
