My students need more independent activities to work on at centers. These activities would greatly add and support their learning while providing them with new challenges.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Do you remember needing some extra help? Did you ever need extra time to finish a project? Did you ever want an extra challenge in school?
My class would greatly benefit from having learning center activities that are ready to go!
My students are very driven and incredibly good natured.
They like helping each other and working together to solve problems. My students are kind and caring. They work well together and have a wide range of learning needs. They attend a public school. Some of these students have little home support academically and need extra one on one time and support in the classroom.
My Project
In my class the students have a wide range of needs. I also work with students from other first grade classes in my school. Students who are struggling tend to need some extra focus as do students who are needing an extra challenge. These center activities would help me spend extra time with struggling students while also helping advanced students push the boundaries of their learning. These center activities would allow students to start exploring new ideas for themselves and further question the world around them.
Please help my students have materials to explore and question the world around them.
These independent centers can be used at work stations whenever students have extra time to explore and develop their knowledge.
