This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Children need social interaction with peers. It helps them to learn and feel confident at school. COVID-19 has had an impact on many of our students' social development and it’s something we are working on in class. Small group centers and games lead to not only learning and practicing academic skills but also social-emotional development with peers. Games that are simple to set up, teach, plan and use are very useful in helping children learn and interact with peers. I’ve chosen some centers in both reading and math that will help our classroom.
