The potential of a child is the most intriguing and stimulating thing in all creation. I want to provide center activities for my students to help them achieve their full potential in my class so that they can continue to build on the solid foundation that I help them build in kindergarten.
I teach 44 awesome Kindergarten students who are eager to learn.
I have 22 kids in my am class and 22 in the pm class. We are all excited to be at a school where the staff lives out our motto each day "Every Child...Everyday...Whatever It Takes." To do that we must all work hard make every minute of the 2 1/2 hours the kids are in class count.
My Project
I have selected a wide variety of math, language, phonics, literacy, art, reading and creative play activities for my kids to use in their centers. I selected items that can be used in a cross-curricular environment. They will be using many of these items daily during their center rotations.
When students are learning and having fun at the same time, they are more likely to retain the concepts they are learning.
I want to provide meaningful activities that will allow my students to engage in meaning activities and games throughout their day. Giving them a variety of activities to choose from will include keep them excited about kindergarten and look forward to what tomorrow will bring.
