I am a general education teacher in an ICT kindergarten classroom. I teach a wonderful group of motivated students. I am a teacher in a high poverty school district where my students are faced with several challenges both in and out of the classroom. It is my job to find different ways to help my students work through and overcome these challenges.
Despite the many challenges they face, my students are excited to learn each and every day.
I want to continue to foster that motivation by providing new and exciting learning experiences for them. I also want to make sure their learning environment is the very best it can be.
My Project
Learning centers are used to teach important concepts in math, language and reading. Students get to participate in hands-on activities. They get to work at their own pace. Young children are motivated and eager to learn when they have choices They can take the time to further explore different concepts.
Centers are an important piece of a kindergartener's early learning experiences.
The materials I am asking for would help deepen my students' understanding while allowing them to have fun and enjoy the process. They can work on phonics, letter and number recognition, as well as math skills. These materials would be a huge asset to my classroom. Thank you for any donation you are able to give.
