I have 25 third grade students in my class. They are a lively bunch full of energy and always excited for learning! I have found that they love Harry Potter almost as much as I do and they are full of great ideas for writing.
Third grade is a pivotal year for learning and I have found that my students are both eager to learn new things and ready to be challenged with new concepts presented in a variety of method.
Whether we are learning about poetry, communities, fractions, or light, my students show me that they are motivated to learn and exceed my expectations all the time.
My Project
These headphones will be used for students in my class to be able to use during centers work in reading and math. They will also be used for students with individualized education plans to be able to have the accommodation of having tests read to them on the computer. These headphones will also be used for our English Language learners to take the speaking portion of the state language test. These headphones will be a great addition to the technology we have at school.
Twenty-five computers without headphones can get loud!
Having these headphones available to my students will allow up to three small groups working on the computers with headphones while I am working with a small group on skill based instruction.
