Help me give my students an organization system that will allow them to successfully complete center activities independently on their instructional level.
I teach kindergarten inclusion which includes special education students learning along with their general education peers. The special education students have developmental disorders such as speech impairment, autism, or intellectual disabilities. Each student in my classroom comes to school excited to learn and I cannot wait to watch them soar in the new school year!
Every student comes to school with different strengths and abilities and it is my job to differentiate their learning while in my classroom.
ALL students work together in my classroom to grow and succeed throughout the year!
My Project
In my kindergarten classroom, students are constantly rotating in centers throughout my classroom every fifteen minutes so that I can teach in small groups.
With a wide range of concepts and skills that are taught in kindergarten along with my students' unique educational goals, these organizational drawers will allow me to differentiate their center activities so they can each grow in their learning during language arts and math time.
Students will use these drawers several times each day during various independent work times in the classroom. Each student will have their own colored bin to help identify the work and the tasks that need to be completed during center time.
