Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

Curious, enthusiastic, and creative; my students are eager to immerse themselves in any kind of challenge.They are fearless when it comes to technology and, as children of the 21st century, they need to be prepared to use a variety of tools.

These children come from diverse backgrounds.

Many of the students come from single parent homes that struggle to make ends meet. Just because they don’t have resources at home doesn’t mean they shouldn’t have every resource available to them at school. I am striving to provide the very best experience for these children. Giving these children the start they need will boost their confidence and success in their entire school career.

My Project

Having the right tools in centers helps students get the most out of play; therefore they learn more. Let’s give these students the best we can! The circle time center tool will allow students to learn colors, numbers, counting, everything about calendars, and so much more. The dinnerware will allow for more creativity in housekeeping center. The feely box will allow students to make educated guesses and learn to use more than just sight for learning. Play is the best learning environment for children of this age. My students will benefit from all of these items on a daily basis.
