Hooray! This project is fully funded

I would like for my students to have the opportunity to more of a "hands on" math experience. My 4th grade students need to be able to use manipulatives during math, some more that others. CenterStage Math Centers allows for students to have these experiences. This classroom set includes centers for Number Operations and Algebra, Fractions and Decimals, Geometry, Measurement and Data, Probability and Graphing. CenterStage Math would allow me, as a teacher, to reach all of the different math levels that I have in my classroom. These centers promote independent investigations and have 24 activities per classroom package. I would be able to work with small groups or individually with students who need the extra support. I currently have a students at various math levels. The students I have working above grade level would benefit because they would be able to work at the centers at their own pace as well as be able to help others. My below grade level students could also use the kits, but work at a slower pace. I could also pull students into a small group setting. The entire class would be focused on key math skills, but would be able to work at their own pace. I would like to purchase two of the Center's kits if possible, so that if a student is struggling with measurement, he/she could be working in a small group or individually from the Measurement Center, while other students might be working in the Number Operations & Algebra Center. I think CenterStage Math is a great way for my students to have success in math. Each student can work at his/her own level, and not feel pressure to try and keep up with the rest of the class. The students will also have a "hands on" experience, which makes learning math more enjoyable! The above grade level students can work at a faster pace and not have to wait for others to "catch up". These centers would be a great way for me to reach the needs of all of my students!
