Help me give my students the opportunity to explore the tiny world of cells! There is no better way to understand and explore cells and cell reproduction than by discovering it for yourself!
The students at my school have a wide range of needs but they all absolutely LOVE to learn. Our kids are passionate, curious, and honest learners who love hands-on activities that they can really immerse themselves in completely.
We have recently moved into a new building for the 2019-2020 school year and would love to build our supply of materials for our classrooms.
We want our students to be lifelong learners and encouraging exciting experiences is our first step to getting our students where they need to be.
My Project
My students have been busy working hard to understand the tiny world of cells through reading and discussion! I would love to give my students the chance to see what they have been learning first hand through the use of a microscope and cell slides! I believe all students learn best when they can explore ideas and put learned information into a concrete understanding by working with the materials hands on! I plan to teach my students how to use a microscope to discover the tiny worlds all around them, and continue to become lifelong learners through scientific discovery in the classroom!
