Help me give my students and the Class of 2020 Seniors who formerly attended McKinley Elementary and an 8th grader from McKinley Elementary a chance to be awarded a Laptop and an Ipad in Memory of Dr. R.

The School District of Philadelphia students reside in the city of Philadelphia. Many students are low-income students who are at-risk of dropping out of school every day. Our students have to dodge many obstacles every day just to get to school. For most of our students, their School Counselor has been a tremendous support to them while making their way through school. School Counselors have made a huge impact in the lives of our students.
The funding in Philadelphia continues to be very limited, and so the demand to assist students in achieving and reaching their dreams become more and more difficult to accomplish.
Your assistance with our project is greatly appreciated, and we know our students would appreciate all that is donated!
Dr. R was a long time School Counselor for the School District of Philadelphia. Dr. R was a beloved and kindhearted School Counselor who cared very deeply for her students. It is with a heavy heart knowing that she has passed away during this very difficult time in our world.
This project will help a Philadelphia School District Senior and an 8th-grade student who was inspired by Dr.R.
The Senior who is chosen will receive a Laptop to be used during college. All College Students need a laptop to be able to achieve and do well in school. The 8th grader who is chosen will receive an Ipad to help with schoolwork, career planning. this student will be able to utilize technology to be able to read a book, practice math lessons, or just watch science videos. Both students will know that this has been awarded to them in memory of their favorite School Counselor, Dr. R. This Laptop and Ipad will be a symbol of a Celebration of her life and her belief that every student deserves a quality education.
