I am the art teacher at a Northern Ohio community school for students who have been diagnosed with ADHD and/or Asperger's Syndrome (mild autism). Our school is a special education program founded on the principle that every child can learn. I teach 100 students from Kindergarten to 9th grade.
Our students attend a free, non-profit, community school for alternative learners.
We are dedicated to serving the needs of all students; specializing in students with Attention Deficit-Hyperactivity Disorder and Asperger's Syndrome. We adhere to the philosophy that all students can learn, given the appropriate instruction for that child.
My Project
We would like to celebrate all of our students achievements by throwing an outdoor field day. We would like to offer a face painting station to really kick off the celebration.
We would also like to have a station in which they create a lanyard out of colorful duct tape. The kids are very excited about this project!
These supplies are something we cannot afford on our own.
Your donation will ensure that each student has a special day to celebrate their graduation from their grade level. Thanks for your consideration!
