Help me give my students new picture books celebrating diverse holidays throughout the year.

My students come from a diverse community made up of both low-income and military families. Many of them qualify for free and reduced-price lunch. What they all have in common is a desire to learn and succeed!
The school serves PK through 6th grade students who are eager to learn and succeed.
I want my media center to be a place where students can come to explore and learn in a positive way. They deserve materials that are of high quality and high interest to engage them and motivate them to be the best they can be.
Many of my students come from very diverse backgrounds where many different holidays are celebrated. In my quest to create a diverse library for our students, I realized that our current picture book collection does not really reflect this diversity.
Your donation will help my students have new picture books that reflect a variety of holidays celebrated throughout the year by many different cultures.
These books will add to richer discussions of holidays and lead to a greater sense of community in our building. It will also help represent many groups of students that are not really well represented in our current collection.
