Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

I am so proud of my students from this year and want to celebrate them! They are participating in class from home through our virtual academy and have worked very hard to pay attention, stay focused, and grow to their best potential!

I want to surprise my students with an end of the year celebration by delivering to them certificates, a board game to play with their families, treats, and a day filled with virtual games together!

I chose a board game that would be accessible for all of my students as well as their older and/or younger siblings. I think a family board game accompanied by some sweet treats will make for a great family game night after a long year of hard work! Plus, board games help build great strategy skills to keep those minds sharp for next year!
