Our Title I school is located in an area that is filled with a very diverse group of young learners. Some, not all of our students are considered to be both special needs as well as English Language Learners (ELL).
The funding from this project would reach our entire school and all of their families.
Our goal is to continue our tradition of culture night as we embrace the diverse community that surrounds our school. This year will be our 4th culture night. Our nights in the past have been a joyous event full of singing, dancing , eating , and sharing of stories and laughter.
My Project
The goal of this project is to bring all of the families in our school together for a night of celebration.
Our school culture night is one that is full of so much love and excitement that crowds have gathered at our school gates to witness the beauty of so many families sharing their food, clothing and traditions with each other.
This project is requesting the utensils needed to be able to serve the delicious dishes our families will enjoy together. Additionally, I have requested beverage supplies as well as dispensers which we will be able to use not only for this event but for many years to come. Finally, I have requested a variety of decorations to represent and celebrate the countries our students and their families originate from.
