Fourth grade is always an adventure! We never know where our learning will take us. In our room, we're always looking for ways to meet the learning styles of kinesthetic, visual, audio, and logical learning. By the end of the school year, I want my students to see the value of learning something new.
Our class is made up of 25 kind, creative students who are eager to learn new material.

My Project
My project is for 9 United States editable map posters and postcards depicting the beauty found in the fifty states. In fourth grade, we spend time learning about the geography and regions of our wonderful country. We are from a small agricultural community, and our geography time is a great way to "see" the world that exists outside our county borders. I would love to have these posters, so the students could label the states and capitals. I think it is important for my students to know where states are located. On these posters, students would also add artwork that shows the wonderful things affiliated with each state, ranging from famous writers who call that state home to the famous architectural structures found inside the state borders.
All students will work on a poster celebrating the diversity found in the United States.
In my project, I also included 50 postcards. Each postcard shows something wonderful to find in the state. This is a spectacular window to the world outside us. I would love to have the posters on display with the United States postcards in the halls of our school for all to see and learn from.
