Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My classroom community encompasses many different cultures and identities, and my goal is to have everyone represented AND inspired by the books in our classroom library.

We are looking forward to celebrating upcoming holidays with books full of inspirational themes and fantastic illustrations, and to the classroom discussion they will bring.

Do Unto Otters and Friendship Yarn shares the message of kindness which will be read during Valentine's Day season, the Questioneer's series will be read during career day exploration, Ambitious Ninja encourages goal setting to match our SEL curriculum, and the winter books will keep our hearts warm even if the weather isn't. We thank you in advance for your generosity and time spent reading about our project.
