My Project

This year we will be celebrating Lunar New Year on January 22, 2023! I always want to be culturally inclusive so we will celebrate the new year with fun activities. I would like to display the banners in front of our building so the entire community can see from the outside. We have lanterns and dragons in the classroom but we would like to display the banner in front of the school.

I would like my students to understand that the Lunar New Year is celebrated in Korea and Vietnam in different ways.

We have an Asian population that are from China, Vietnam, Cambodia, and other Asian countries. I want to acknowledge my Asian students by reading about their new year tradition.

The Cricut accessories will be used to make the yellow iron on decals for their red t shirts we received. The accessories have everything we need for our Cricut Joy. The heat press mat will protect the t shirt if it gets too hot.
