Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Do you remember getting positive attention for doing the right thing? I am requesting rewards for my students for when they are caught doing good.
I currently teach 27 very sweet first graders in a Title I school located in a high poverty and high crime area in Pennsylvania.
All of my students receive free breakfast and free lunch. Many of my students come from homes where English is not spoken.
My Project
I am requesting trophies, rings, necklaces and other prizes for my students for when they are "Caught Being Good". I want my students to be recognized for doing the right thing.
Too often children get negative attention. I want to promote positive attention in my classroom.
We will be having a Fun Friday weekly. The students will be rewarded for following directions and being helpful and kind to their fellow classmates.
Please help accentuate the positive in my classroom by providing my students with awesome prizes such as cars, rings.
