Boy's baseball season is now upon us. We are working with middle school boys to build a baseball team for the this school year. The boys that have shown interest thus far are in grades 6 and 7. The boys tend to remain at this middle school for their middle school years. Many of the boys have never played baseball and come with a desire to learn and play the game.
The boys are eager to learn how to play the game labeled known as "national pastime." Our school is located just outside of Washington, D.C.
with a student population around 750 students. We believe with the proper level of instruction and the right equipment that we can develop the baseball skills of the 12 - 18 boys we expect to be part of the team this year and those that will come after them for many years.
Our baseball team members will be able to catch any ball hit their way with this donation of these requested ten adidas youth gloves.
Right now balls can slip through the aged webbing of the baseball gloves we are using now.
The updated equipment will allow us to build the skills of the boys and with constant encouragement we can build a competitive team through the year. These new gloves will stand the test of time for the middle school aged boys through the next decade.
Baseball will give the boys opportunities to develop team skills required to be positive school leaders, as well as classroom leaders.
