My students love coming into the music room. It has always been my goal to make the classroom a warm and inviting environment where students can learn not only the inner workings of music, including reading, writing, and performing, but also self-expression and social-emotional awareness.
My students mean the world to me, and affording them every opportunity to succeed and develop a love for music is my only wish for them.
It is my hope that materials that we acquire through this site will allow my students opportunities to explore the world of music and, in turn, discover creativity within themselves.
My Project
My students mean the world to me, and any technology available to assist in their learning would be a huge asset to the music classroom. The Catchbox is a device that amplifies a student's voice to encourage classroom participation, and allow students who have quieter voices the opportunity to be heard. It's made of a soft material that is designed to be thrown, and will keep the technology safe from damage.
Having this technology in the classroom will increase student participation, allow for every student's voice to be clearly understood, and add more fun to the classroom, which in turn, aids in student success!
