My students need cleaning supplies/tissues in our classroom. Due to the flu and other common aliments in the classroom (colds, stomach virus, lice, etc), I am consciously trying to disinfect our classroom and keep it clean.
Hello, I am a 3rd grade general education teacher in a ICT classroom in the Bronx. My school is a Title I school with about 99% of the students receiving free lunch. About 11% of our population are English language learners and 15% of our population have special needs. My classroom is comprised of 26 students, 12 of the students receiving special education services. It gives me so much hope knowing that there are thoughtful and generous people in the world that believe in education and want our students to succeed!
My Project
My classroom is in desperate need of tissues and cleaning supplies. With the common aliments always present in the classroom (flu, cold, stomach virus, lice, etc), I'm sure you can imagine the amount of tissues and cleaning supplies my classroom goes through during the school year.
I make a conscious effort to clean and disinfect my classroom daily to keep my students healthy!
With that being said, we have run out of essential supplies to make this possible. Please help me keep my students healthy so they can attend school and receive the academic and social/emotional support that they so desperately need!
