This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
My school is a located in the inner city. We service students who are in grades pre-kindergarten through fifth grade. The students are all in a Title I program where 100% of our students free breakfast and lunch Mondays through Fridays of the school year. The students have the desire to utilize technology during instructional time. The students are very creative using technology. This allows the teachers to use a variety of assessment activities to see if they are learning the concept. The students present information for mastery by using computers, software programs, and technology.
My Project
Some of my students miss breakfast or they don't always eat everything on their tray for lunch. My students are hungry later in the day and right after school. Having a variety of snacks to choose from would be great for my students to have when they get hungry after school.

My students really love snacks like chips, fruit snacks, and goldfish. They would really appreciate having something to snack on when they are hungry. The snacks will also be very helpful for students who miss breakfast. Having access to these life essentials will make students very happy!
