My Students
I teach a wonderful group of sixth-grade students in a high needs school in the western part of North Carolina. One hundred percent of the students at my school receive free or reduced-price lunch.
My students come in eager to learn with the materials that we have for them.
The teachers at our school go above and beyond the call of duty to make sure every need of each child is met. Thank you in advance for helping our classroom.
My Project
This year is taking off we are about to start our online banking system. We are requesting check books for students to use to purchase things from our classroom store. There is a variety of snacks and treats for the students to choose from such as candy and chips. The copy paper and the ink pens will be used for students to track their statements and write checks. The financial literacy games will work great on our fun Fridays to get students learning how to manage their money. Students will make mistakes so ordering pencils is a must! My students are going to be so excited to purchase things with a check, something that students today are not familiar with. Thank you in advance for your support.
