Greetings supporters of kids and music! Welcome to our Donors Choose Page! We are a group of 7/8 grade public school music students that need miscellaneous instruments to play as well as needing supplies to keep our instruments in excellent playing condition. We are happy to share our requests with you! Our teacher has been a music educator for over 25 years and she really enjoys teaching music to middle school kids. She "gets kids" and "gets at them with music." We have a successful music program with a beautiful and diverse student population, but we lack many fundamental resources. More than half of our students require a school instrument to participate. We work hard to play well. We work hard to bring our music to festivals and the community. Our music program struggles to provide quality instruments for student use. With your help, we will put quality instruments into the hands of our students. We hope you can fulfill our needs to bring high quality music education to our public school music students!
Our band students need cases to help them organize their many cymbal and mallet sets for classroom and concert use. The band students work hard to organize for easy access during gigs, but it is nearly impossible without organizational cases. These cases will save the students time while allowing them to focus their efforts on making beautiful music rather than hunting for the right cymbal or stick. The ability to easily locate their sticks and cymbals will enhance not only their classroom experience, but also their culminating concert presentation. The students will benefit by setting organizational goals for performances in the classroom and on stage.
