My students need a safe comfortable carpet to sit and read, collaborate on Google documents with each other, Skype with other students around the world and listen to books.

My Students

Students now have a large space to fall in love with books and read with others. Our carpets are falling apart and we do not have the funding to replace our existing rugs. Creating a warm environment will allow students to share and read together.

We are a small school, Kindergarten through fifth grade and a great school with wonderful caring adults, teachers, students and families.

We have 230 students from diverse backgrounds around the world. Everyone care about learning and teaching the whole child to care and to learn academically to succeed to life.

My Project

Students will be able to sit on the rug safely as the rug that we have now has frayed edges. We will read together as a large group, but also allow for time for students to read together. There will be Internet activities as well as students collaborate with others as they s\Skype and blog with other students around the world.

This new rug will allow our physical space to be visually appealing for students as well as inviting for sharing and learning.

We do not have a rug there now and the flooring is old and worn where students can trip and play with worn edges.
