My Students

Hello! I am on a new adventure this year. I am now going to be teaching 3rd grade in Yukon at Parkland. This school means a lot to me since it is the school I went to when I was in Elementary. I am looking at having a class size of around 20 students. I am looking to create a new classroom that gives the students a feeling of being at home. The students will benefit from having a space they want to be in.

My Project

I am looking to redo my classroom for the new year. I am going to be going to a new school, and want to revamp my classroom decor. I want to create a space that is both for coming together to learn, but for the students to also have their own personal space when we are close together. I have selected a rug that is geometrical so that each student will basically have their own square to sit in. I want to create a fun environment that the students are excited about walking into everyday. The "home" and cozy feel is what we want. This rug would help achieve that!
