Carpet Learning

Help me give my students a place to work on the floor when doing STEM activities, literacy and math centers. We need a carpet to meet as a group for circle time and whole group activities.

My Students

My students come to class loving school. They love all the activities and books that we do throughout the school year. They are eager to learn. It is so cool to watch their little minds work and how they think. The answers they deliver are out of this world.

We are a family made of all races and personalities no matter where we are from.

We blend together and learn to care and show empathy for each other. We learn to share and take turns. We learn our classroom jobs are important. We learn that it takes all of us to succeed in our learning. We learn that each person matters and we are all special. We work together in groups and individually.

My Project

We need a carpet where a child will have its on home when we are having circle time or whole group activities. A letter around the carpet will serve as a child's home. The carpet will also be a place that the children can complete STEM activities. They will also use it to complete literacy and math centers as they rotate in groups. The carpet will help the activities to stay in place and not roll away on the floor.

The carpet will serve as a meeting place much like we use a kitchen table or living room to meet, talk, laugh and cry.

It will be the hub of the classroom.
