My Students
My students walk into our classroom every day full of life, ready to learn, and excited for what is in store for them that day. I ask them, "Who is the best third grade class in the whole world?" and they reply, "We are!" I want them to know I believe in them and they can do anything.
I teach at a low-income/high poverty school district where 100 percent of our students receive free breakfast and lunch.
Despite so many hardships, my students are eager to learn and do their best. They want to be in school because they want to learn all they can so they can be successful one day.
My Project
In my 3rd grade class we work in small groups. It is important that my students have a comfortable area for learning.
This rug will be used as a safe and comfortable space in my classroom for my students to learn, discuss and listen to one another.
This bright and inviting carpet will also provide a comfortable space for my students to read independently and work on assignments. It will provide my students with their own space for learning. The carpet will help my students to work together and strengthen relationships. A carpet area in the classroom will provide an enjoyable space for learning.
