My Students

My students are awesome. They deserve all the resources to help them achieve success. My students attend a Title I school that is considered high poverty. We have almost 50% of our students receiving free or reduced-price breakfast and lunch each day. We even have a weekend food program.

My students are working extremely hard to be successful with the Common Core curriculum, and I want to get them all the resources to achieve this.

I appreciate how hard they work for me each day, and I know they'd appreciate any support you could give them.

My Project

This carpet would be the "perfect" place to do our weekly meetings and STEM activities. It's colorful and has defined areas so not only will it be beneficial for seating but for supplies too. We would do building, robotic, Chromebook, and other activities on this carpet. It'll make the students feel comfortable and excited to do their STEM activities. I can envision them using the classroom LEGOS, blocks, Mystery Science activities, and the marble runs on this carpet. I can see them using Dash on this carpet too. Please know that this carpet would be used for so many STEM activities for many years to come. We appreciate any support that we can get to get this resource into our room.
