My Project

Our school plans to make a care closet with materials that students may need. Students can not focus on school if their basic needs are not met first. Students may need things such as toothbrushes, combs, deodorant, feminine products, socks and underwear.

My goal is for every child to have their needs met so all they have to worry about is school!

Our school is a community school in which the elementary, middle and high school are all in a line on the same street. All students receive free lunch and breakfast. We send home weekend food bags with students who need food but I am sure there are more that we are unaware of. Our students need these basic necessities to make their daily school life more successful.
