Help me give my students the proper tools to make creative cardboard and recyclable creations using zip cutters, cardboard scissors and glue guns. One can never have enough of these useful tools!

My Students

I work with a diverse group of students. They come from all walks of life. We are high poverty school where we have a large immigrant and refugee population. Some speak only one language while others speak more. They all have different abilities and interests but all have one thing in common. They love to learn!

My students LOVE to be creative and love any opportunity to build and make.

Help me by giving them the right tools so they can create. We will be using a variety of materials such as cardboard, paper, and other materials that can be repurposed.

My Project

Think to back when you were in school. What were your best memories? Were they of studying or of making things? What better way of learning than to make or build something!

Help instill a life long love of learning!

Our students love to create using their imagination whether it be a storybook character or a drummed up one. The tools and supplies we will get will help build fairy tale characters out of simple materials such as cardboard, paper, plastic bottles and other found materials to be used in and out of the classroom. The possibilities of what they create are endless.
