This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I have 11 enthusiastic and hardworking kindergarten dual-language students. My students are ready to be motivated, inspired, and challenged. They take pride in their learning and accomplishments and together, we have built a safe place to learn and a community of learners.

We are learning to be critical thinkers and being careful observers of the world around us.

Creativity, risk-taking, perseverance, and uniqueness are celebrated.

I have made it my goal to provide my students with the necessary technology to prepare them to be college-prepared and career-ready learners.

For some of my students, this is the first time in a school setting. Making their kindergarten experience special essential.

My Project

As a kindergarten teacher, it is important to understand the impact that using different teaching modalities can have on student learning.

Integrating technology in my classroom will allow me to reach my visual, auditory, and kinesthetic learners.

With this in mind, I am focusing on building a rich technology and art classroom. The addition of this Panasonic camcorder can help me get closer to our goal. Students will be able to records each others' classroom presentations, performances such as dances, plays, musicals, and school events. The use of this camcorder will help promote students' creativity and self-expression. Having this camcorder in their hands will allow my students to see themselves as artists and record the world around them.
