Help me give my students a fun time learning shapes, gross motor skills, and sensory needs.
This project expired on January 11, 2019.
Hooray! This project is fully funded
My students are between the ages of 4-5 years old. They are a mixture of autistic and developmental delay. They are not potty trained, but have been introduced to the procedure and with assistance will complete the partial potty procedure. Most of my students are sensitive to noise in which loud noises will make them upset.
All of my students love sensory items, whether if its soft, squishy, rough etc.
They all love music, dramatic play, food items and exercise equipment.
I am requesting fidget toys, this will help my students focus and find stress relief while having fun. These sensory toys are perfect for my class because they all have sensory needs that require squishing, bending, pulling, squeezing, pushing, or bouncing.
By purchasing this giant free standing beanbag board it is useful to my students for a wide variety of active learning games.
This will boost eye/hand coordination and gross motor skills. The 5 big target holes include the shapes square, circle, triangle, rectangle and another circle for the students to learn about shapes.
The cozy corner will be for relaxing time for my students.
By purchasing this water/sand table, it will give my students the option to play in the sand or the water. This is great for sensory needs.
Kinetic sand is a huge part of sensory needs for my students to be able to relax.
