My students need a digital camera, camcorder, and printer so they can document their class projects.

Hooray! This project is fully funded
My kids are bursting at the seams with creativity and imagination. Even though many come from disadvantaged low income homes, they have big dreams and even bigger personalities. They just need to stay motivated.
My students achieve at different academic levels.
Some come from non-English speaking families while a few have learning disabilities. Still others are overachievers who need to be challenged, but every student responds to hands-on activities, technology, and visuals. They take pride in the work they do and love to see their projects displayed in the classroom.
I want to nurture my students' love for learning and keep them motivated by assigning creative class projects that we can record and share with their families and classmates. I am requesting 1 camcorder, 1 digital camera, and 1 printer for my students to use for their projects. Seeing themselves on camera and in pictures brings a smile to any kid's face. Speaking in public is an important skill, and practice certainly helps. We will use the camcorder to record student book reports and science presentations. Students will learn how to photograph with the digital camera and print pictures with the printer that will help them create memory books of the school year.
Help me encourage my students to be creative and to take pride in their reading and writing projects.
The camera, printer and camcorder will allow us to document the wonderful projects my students create and make learning fun.
