My Students

I teach keyboarding for the sixth grade. This is about 250 students. Each year the students create a keyboarding with colored pencils and magic markers. Each year the students don't have these supplies in order to create the project and turn it in. My students come from many different backgrounds. Their economics go from low income to high income. I also teach the ABS and BD students which can be very challenging.

Students from poor economic backgrounds suffer in the public school system without the necessary skills to be successful.

I love my students because they are loving and kind. They care about the adults, their friends, community, and administrators. They help others in the classroom without being asked.

My Project

The colored pencils and crayons will be used to create a keyboard with colors that match the online keyboarding program that I teach in my classroom. I also will use tools for the students to write the proper keyboarding techniques in colors on a football.

In math I will use these tools for students to create graphs with independent and dependent variables .

each variable will be graphed in a different color. Also, the students will use diverse colors to label the title, equation, x axis and y axis. Students will be able to compare and contrast the different variables by the different colors on the gaph
