My students need an iPad to record their learning in the classroom. One iPad will allow a group of students to document their learning and create content for their classmates.

Hooray! This project is fully funded
I teach in the third largest school district of the nation at an International Baccalaureate World School (IB) high school. The school population is 96.4% low income and 89.9% Hispanic. My freshmen come in from over 14 different elementary schools.
My scholars are ready to be engaged in learning beyond the paper.
I know they will rise up to the challenges I set up for them. I want my students to have the opportunity to share their learning with the world.
Students are constantly working on math content on worksheets. My goal is for students to no longer capture their work via pen and paper but through the use of technology. Students will not only create content for themselves but for their classmates using common apps like stop motion and iMovie. Students will share their videos with their peers throughout the year. Unfortunately, all students do not have their own recording devices. By providing my classroom with an iPad, students will be able to create content in the classroom using technology and apps that make the content come alive. This technology will free students to express their understanding with multiple representations.
