My Students

With instructing special education the students need to see, hear and touch information in order for them to process an obtain knowledge. With these items they will be able to achieve this goal everyday and understand language and learn reading skills.

My students have specific learning disabilities, emotional disabilities, MIMR, Other Health Impairments.

With these disabilities they are unable to process at a normal mode of learning. Our school is a Title 1 Public School. We have many students of poverty that are not exposed to books.

My Project

When I obtain the easel and felt board I will be able to help my students process through the use of manipulation which will coincide with the story/audio books. I will also be able to use this in a story board to help them understand the elements of literature.

My project is important for my students to be able to experience reading and comprehension.

They will also be able to have fun and create their own stories and present them by using the felt board.
