Teacher professional development: I need a digital camera for professional development technology conferences and training for flipping the classroom, social media communications, blogging and telling stories through digital means. <profdevpilot>
My classroom is a vibrant classroom full of the love of learning. We are a busy, motivated group who desires and needs technology. My class loves working in groups and sharing about our learning experiences. My class learns best through hands-on, real life and technology experiences.
I have been teaching for six years and have become a pioneer and ambassador of technology at my school.
I have led fundraising and grant efforts to get technology in the classrooms. I have presented at a local University to faculty on how to incorporate the use of technology in their classrooms, I have presented at other school districts and will be presenting at a statewide technology conference next month.
I love teaching through technology. I love taking webinars, online classes, reading blogs, live training sessions and watching how to tutorials to increase my knowledge. Learning to use a digital camera to improve professionally is the next piece of technology on my list to learn how to use. This funded project will help me improve in the technology department.

This funded project will provide me with the technology needed to take part in professional development training on flipping the classroom, social media communication, blogging and telling stories through digital means. Having the digital camera will allow me to learn hands on during training tutorials and classes.
The camera is a necessary tool for me hands on learning for myself and for documenting my learning during training.
I need to learn new and updated technology skills in order to keep up with my students. This camera is a much needed resource for me to learn and document my learning. This funded project provides me with the benefits of learning hands-on at my professional development conferences and being able to capture it for future reference as I move deeper into the digital world.
