The children come from various socioeconomic statuses. They are in a rural area with a welcoming community. The kids love to learn new and exciting things. We strive to reach every student and make our learning environment be enriching. These students only have a little amount computers in the classroom and slim resources for a classroom library.

My students are full of adventure and wonder. Like most students, they are eager to explore the world around them. They want to see how technology works and use it to the best of their advantage. When students become tech savvy, they become “experts”. The “experts” show others what they have learned and how to use the technology. It’s a great learning experience, all around.
My Project
Students will be able to use the Chromebooks in all subjects. Reading, they use them for taking Accelerated Reader test, reading/listening to books online, writing assignments, research, and so much more! In mathematics, they use the Chromebooks for games/progression, scanning QR codes, updating their Seesaw accounts (for families to see), sharing their learning, Exit Tickets, and more.
We use the Chromebooks to connect with students, other classes, families, and professionals around the world!
They are really loving Google Slides, to share research projects with other classes! After being asked Higher Order Thinking Questions, students like to share their Flipgrids and let other people comment. Students are excited to take ownership of their learning, through inquiry!
